Westwood, CA - - The health reform rally at UCLA on August 21, 2009 was peaceful and effective -- despite some incredibly
misinformed (dare I say, brainwashed) young people exhibiting LaRouchePAC propagandist filth against President Obama (where they have the audacity to depict him as Adolph Hitler and call his plan a
"Nazi Health Plan"). They are so over-the-edge to what is factual and decent, we will give them no more consideration here other than this:
I took several of their wacko booklets home and then promptly burned them.
The highlight of my day
was meeting Doctor Richard Koch and his wife Jean. He is a retired professor from USC School of Medicine (specializing in pediatrics and genetics) and a former professor at Children's Hospital for 50 years!. This lovely couple (both 87 years young) drove approximately 50 miles round-trip to show their enthusiasm and support for health care reform. They are a true inspiration to the cause and it was an honor to meet them.
